we ♥ ice cream!

Bronwyn and I were doing a little work out in the backyard when we heard one of our new favorite neighborhood sounds... the ICE CREAM TRUCK!!!
We ran inside to get some money and headed out front to see if we could find him. We live on a corner house and sometimes it's tricky to figure out where he is. We wait on the corner and wave and he comes right over! Bronwyn loves it! And she loves getting to pick from the menu of tasty treats!

We like the Oreo Ice Cream Bar the best! Some the best $3 I've spent! I just have to make sure I always have that cash at home now!!!

Mommy's Little Boy!

Crazy that Hayden is growing so fast! Crazy how much love I have for him! Crazy that his smiles bring a tear to my eye! His smile is so sweet... you can now see for yourself!

8 Weeks Old!

My sweet little baby is now 8 weeks old! At the same time, it's gone by fast and it seems like he should be older. Hayden is such a sweet baby. He has the sweetest baby face. He brings a smile to my face every time I look at him... and we are all bringing smiles to his! He gets the biggest smiles when you talk to him! I think his favorite person my just be Bronwyn! He smiles at her whenever she goes to him! She loves to be around him. He has definitaly not become the old toy! She still always has to know where he is first thing in the morning. And she is still giving him all her hugs and kisses every time she passes him! This week I take Hayden in for his 2 month checkup. He is growing for sure! He is quickly outgrowing alot of his 0-3 month clothing. He is getting too long for anything one-piece with feet!
But I love all his new little man clothes! He's pretty calm, and for the most part only cries when he wants something. He's just mommy's sweetie! ♥

Happy Mother's Day!

This Mother's Day was extra special, because this year I am a mommy of two perfect sweet children! I am very lucky to have them both and can't imagine a day without them!

We started off the day meeting Danny's mom and Scott for a Mother's Day breakfast at a cajun restaurant (yes, I actually ate there!). Even though the day started out rainy, we got to sit outside on the covered deck. It was so nice!












After Breakfast, we stopped by to visit Danny's dad and Evelyn. We just wished Evelyn a Happy Mother's Day before heading home.


We got to stop at home for awhile and I got to take a nice long nap! Then we headed over to my parents house for dinner. We got to hang out and take lots of pictures. My brother, Rachael, and Drew were there also and we finally got some pictures of the boys together!

Taking over...

Danny and I are now being run out of our own bed! In the morning Bronwyn comes in once she wakes up... with whatever toys she had chosen to make a part of our room for the day! And Hayden sleeps in a pack-n-play in our room and usually after his last bottle in the morning he gets to snuggle in our bed. Now Bronwyn likes to come in and snuggle with him leaving no more room for mommy and daddy!

They are super cute! And with a little sweet face like this... I'll never kick him out!
