Good day for a zoo day!

Yesterday I wanted to take Brnowyn to the zoo. I have been feeling so sick every day and I thought if we could get out early (before I start to feel bad) and get a little fun in, it might make up for the fact that I'm no good to her at night! Our friends Lisa and Hailey came along for the fun!

It's fun to watch Bronwyn and Hailey play together more and more. It seems as Bronwyn is getting older and able to do so much more she really has alot of fun with other kids. She's just not a baby anymore!

We had a fun time around the monkeys! We caught a few really climbing and swinging around and we were the only ones around to watch! It's nice when everything is not super crowded! There was also this huge orangatang we saw all slumped up behind a glass case. He had his arms folded in around his face... it looked like he was trying to "peek" out at us! The girls had people around laughing while they imitated him! You can just barely see the ape between the girls in this picture.

While I was having fun sneaking some monkeys a peice of popcorn... Bronwyn thought she'd get in on the action too...
Hailey never refused a bite!

On the way out of Primate Panorama, we spotted some drums and stopped for a little play! Hailey was a pro, of course, and even started singing as she played! Bronwyn tried to get in and give it a try but just couldn't make the same rhythms!

We had a real fun day! It was fun to have Lisa and Hailey along to really let Bronwyn get in some good play time! We made it home and Bronwyn slept for a good two hours! I was just wishing I could have got a nap in with her!

Happy Birthday Deb/Mom/Grandma!

This weekend we celebrated Danny's moms birthday at the North Pole! We're trying to make it a yearly birthday tradition. Last year when we went Bronwyn was just about 6 months old so she couldn't be too involved in anything. But this year it was really fun to see her go crazy! She got to see Santa, go on rides, feed some animals, and spend the day with a bunch of family! I get super super sick if I go on any rides. Danny had to squeeze into a lot of the smaller rides just so she could go! What a good daddy! Although, Danny seems to have just as much on all the rides! And there even are a few bigger kid rides that he got to on by himself!

Bronwyn was so excited to see Danny on the roller coaster ride! She cheered him on each time he passed on along the track! She kept yelling "daddeeee" and waving her arm!

Parents were not allowed to ride on the boat ride so each of twins took Bronwyn and Alex so they could ride! Here's a video clip of the fun! (And by the way... that's silly Uncle Greg in the background getting their attention!)

There were lots more rides and tons more fun! Bronwyn had to check just how she "measured up" to ride this one! Too small! Maybe next year! Instead she took a break with Daphne!

There was a great picture we each bought of the whole family with Santa... I just have not scanned it yet! I'll try to get that on here as well! It was a really fun day! Can wait to take her each year as she gets bigger and bigger and do more and more!

Bronwyn's New Bedroom!

I've finally finished! I had some many hopes and dreams to create the perfect bedroom for Bronwyn in the new house. With all the moving and unpacking and getting settled it took me alot longer than I had wanted. But yesterday I finished!!! Bronwyn was so funny while I was hanging things on the wall. I'd get something up and show it to her. She'd look up at it and say, "oohhh"! It was too cute! Danny saw it once he finished working. He kept telling me what a great job I'd done! I even had my parents run over to see it finally finished. They thought I should take my pictures and send them into children's room magazines!

My dad built all the furniture in the room except the crib. He brought over the dollhouse bookshelf the other night. Bronwyn loves to take off everyhting I have put on the shelves! He finished the toybox/bookshelf-bench seat last week. I just had to finish the painting on it. I had to "teach" Bronwyn that her toys go in the toyboxes. She now understands where they are and how to get them out... putting them back will be our next lesson!

Bronwyn got a special gift for her new room last week. My Aunt Barbara Lou send it out from Texas. It's a framed picture of Bronwyn's name with cute saying for what each letter stands for. It matches her room perfectly! Thank You Aunt Barbara Lou!

We're planning to keep Bronwyn in her crib until her 2nd birthday. After that we'll need it for the new baby! We have all the new bedding to match everything in the room for when she gets a "big girl" bed. Then I can have fun touching it all up again!

Happy Birthday Jim/Dad/Grandpa!

Lastnight we got together to celebrate Danny's dads birthday. Bronwyn had a lot of fun playing with her cousins! She playing alot of ring-a-round-the-rosey with Isela.

She played with Alex... although it looks more like they are getting into trouble!!!

She even got to hold little Logan! Something sure started making him sad! But she seemed so happy to get to have him on her lap!

She was very friendly and silly all night long!

Evelyn gave Jim Guitar Hero. Once it was opened up Bronwyn became quite the dancer! She really enjoyed standing right in front on the tv... although that doesn't work for anyone trying to play the game! She even got her own try holding the guitar!

All that partying wore her out! Thanks Jamie for taking all these pictures! I enjoyed stealing them all!

8 week Ultrasound!

Yesterday we went in for our 8 week appointment and ultrasound. Everything is still looking good! I think my doctor was almost as excited as we were. She said we could start with the ultrasound and work backwards! We saw the heartbeat movements right away! This picture is a little harder to see anything going on. But that's our baby in there growing and growing!

My hormone levels seem to still be at a nice level. My doctor has me taking a prescription to help out and keep the level high! (That does WONDERS for my skin by the way! Geez! I've never had so many breakouts!!!) I have one more round of blood testing to see if I can drop one dose of the medicine a day. Once I reach 12 weeks I won't have to take it. We scheduled all my appointments through November 12th... that is when we can find out what we are having!

My doctor "adjusted" the due date to March 31st. I want an April birthday! Then between Danny, Bronwyn, the baby and I, we would have one birthday each month for the 1st 4 months of the year! So we're looking good! I'm still praying for this to be a normal pregnancy everyday but I think we've got a keeper!

We've got a silly one!

She loves cleaning! She's always into the cabinets and getting an air freshner and a sponge! She makes a little "psshhh" sound and pretends to put the "cleaner" on the wall!

Now she says cheese when you try to take her picture and then she tilts her head and smiles!

We bought Bronwyn a new little desk so she had her own place to draw and color! She really seems to like it! Plus she always wants her own little place to sit!

A little catching up!

We've had so much going on this month and so much more is still coming up!
On August 8th, Danny's step-brother Normando and Jamie tied the knot! We celebrated with them the night after for their reception! Of course we were all dressed up and have no family picture... guess you have to ask someone 3 times before they'll take one of you!

The newleyweds ~ Jamie and Normando! Welcome to the family Jamie!

Here is Bronwyn sleeping on Daddy when we first arrived! Then Bronwyn and Grandpa taking a walk!

Bronwyn followed this little boy around most of the night! And the twins followed her! Here she is trying to dance with him! ...the chicken dance was her favorite!

And here are all the Jone's kids with the new couple! (Minus Alex and Logan!)
