Spending time with the Butterflies!

MOVING~GREEN Pictures, Images and PhotosThe end of August took us to the Butterfly Pavillion! My parents have never been and my mom really wanted to go so they joined us on our outing! It was a first for Hayden and a 3rd time for Bronwyn, although she was probably too small to remember the last time. We went through the "Crawl-A-See-Um" area and saw all the creepy crawlies and my dad and I were each brave enough to let Rosie, the pet tarantula walk across our hands. Then everyone but Hayden and I (the little guy got hungry!)went through the "Water's Edge" touching sea stars and other sea creatures.

Next we toured the "Wing's over the Tropics", where over 1,200 butterflies flutter around. It's so crazy to see them all breezing along. They will land anywhere! Bronwyn is pretty well behaved and resisted the urge to try and catch one. (Don't be one of those people if you go... touching a butterflies wings will shorten it's life span.) Lots of pictures from the trip! This is one of my favorite places!

Beautiful and graceful, varied and enchanting, small but approachable, butterflies lead you to the sunny side of life. And everyone deserves a little sunshine. ~Jeffrey Glassberg

Happy Birthday Grandma/Mom/Deb!

This year we celebrated Grandma Deb's birthday at the pool where she lives for some swimming and bbq-ing! She and Scott and Danny's brothers and their families were all there. I brought my camera... just forgot to have it charged! And too bad, cause I missed out on some really fun shots! Danny took Bronwyn in the water. She loved it! It's been a couple months since she was swimming. She loved the water wings and she sure does a good job keeping herself afloat! Hayden used a seat tube with a canpoy over it and just hung out while I pushed him around for a bit! It was alot of fun! We're thinking Bronwyn might need swim lessons next, she couldn't get enough of the pool! I stole a few pictures that Deb posted of the day!

Happy Birthday Grandpa/Dad/Jim!

Danny's Dad wasn't doing anything wild and crazy this year for his birthday, so we thought... it's wild and crazy at our house every night! Come on over!!! He and Evelyn came over and I cooked dinner for everyone. Bronwyn was very excited to share cake with Grandpa! She's really getting good at learning the song! We even had to find a candle to place on the cake... you simply cannot sing without getting to blow out a candle!

We took a day trip up to Steamboat Springs with my parents a few weeks ago. We walked around the town's main street and had some yummy bbq for lunch! The hightlight of the trip was taking Bronwyn into a store called F.M. Light & Sons. Can you say, "Holy Western Wear"?!?! Grandpa and Grandma treated Bronwyn to a pair of pink cowgirl boots, a pink cowgirl hat and a little toy drum! (She apparently can't decide between being a Cowgirl or an Indian!) Hayden also got a Coonskin Tail cap to add to his collection of hats in his room! Following in at a close second for the most ammusing part of the trip was when i got car sick sitting in the 3rd row seating of my parents Durango. I had to have my Dad pull over on the side of the highway and let me out in time to lose the contents of my stomach down the edge of the montain! No more car trips for me! That was even after taking Dramamine. Here are a few pictures from our day!

Hayden is 5 months old!!!

Our little guy is now 5 months old!!! No trip to the pediatrician this month so Nurse Bronwyn stepped in to give Hayden an in-home check-up. Looks like he's a healthy growing boy!

Hayden's newest favorites include:
* Facing out in the stroller seeing everything around him (this includes his sister and friends getting a closer look to say hello!
* Playing in his jumper, he's learning just how much fun he can have!
* Cereal! We've started with rice and are now adding in some fruit and veggies!
* Watching himself and Daddy in the mirror!
* Giving Mommy the biggest smiles every time she takes out the camera!

Look who's got a tooth!!!

Photobucket
It true! Hayden's first tooth was spotted... and felt... on August 9th! You wouldn't know it without feeling it, he didn't seem fussy as it broke through at all! His 2nd tooth followed behind by just another couple of days!

Celebrating 7 Years Together!

On August 10th 2002, I married the man of my dreams! This year we celebrated our anniversary by taking an overnight trip to the mountains. The kids stayed with my mom and dad and we headed off to one of our favorite spots, the Dillion/Silverthorne/Frisco Area. We had dinner and drinks out in town at night. Then we spent the next morning at Copper Mountain. We rode on some go carts and walked around the base of the mountain. Then Danny took me up Copper Mountain on the ski lift to see a small outdoor chapel. We decided then that for our 10 year anniversary we would like to renew our vows... right there! So mark your calendars for August 12th 2012!!! And we'll see you at the top of the hill!

I learn a little more about life with Danny every day. I am always reminded of my love for him and how much he means to me. I can't imagine a life without him, and I believe we truly were meant for each other. ♥

Can't get enough of the Denver Zoo!

We have a Season Pass to the Denver Zoo, so we like to get out there any chance we get. We headed out with... can you guess... Barb, Kaitlin, and Zoey ;) for a little fun one afternoon. It seems like each time we go Bronwyn had learned a little more about the animals. We try to stick to the most popular and the most entertaining. Having a pass allows you to become a little choosy! Hayden is always along for the ride! This was the 1st trip out that I didn't use the carrier attached to the stroller so that he could look around. He loved it! He's got a whole new world out there when he's facing forward! So much that it tires him out to watch!

G is for... GYMNASTICS!

A few times this month we went to a little open play gymnastics class with our friends Barb, Kaitlin, and Zoey. Barb found this class nearby at a parks rec center and the girls get to go for an hour for just $4! Bronwyn seems to enjoy it. There is a really long trampoline that they are supposed to jump down... Bronwyn does more of a running gallop... but she loves it! There is also a a small inflatable jumping house with a slide that the girls spend alot of time in. It's fun to watch them play. Sometimes Bronwyn and Kaitlin stick together and then they split up and have their own fun. And after an hour they seem to have had their fill!
Here are a few pictures from the 1st trip!

Happy Birthday to Taylor & Kaitlin!

August is a pretty busy month for us when it comes to birthdays. We started it out celebrating with our nephew Taylor. He had a Star Wars themed party with a few special guests! The kids all got to dress the part too! It's crazy to believe that Taylor is already 9 years old! WOW!

We headed straight from his party to celebrate with our friend Kaitlin as she turned 3! She had a pool party that was super fun! (Could have been alot more fun had we not missed half of it sitting in traffic... guess they post the "expect major delays sign" for a reason.) Once we made it Bronwyn joined all her friends in the pool fun action. And luckily we did not miss cake! Yummy! Happy Birthday Kaitlin!!!

Here are some pictures of our day!

Going and Going and no time for Blogging... OH MY!!!

Each week I've been hoping to find a few minutes to catch up on my blogging and it just hasen't happened. I've taken tons of pictures and we've been everywhere doing everything! I find that I deal with my issues best when I can place blame somewhere... so I think I'll leave to the Twilight saga. My friend Lisa lent me the series of books and I'm about a hundred pages away from finishing the last book. I just realized that I have not posted anything in the month of August!!! So here I am to say... "STAY TUNED"... many postings will make their way to this page in the next couple of days! I don't feel as though I can offically step into September before I document August! I may to leave Edward waiting... Love smiley Pictures, Images and Photos but I will get caught up on all my blogging masterpeices!
