Always Camera Ready!!!

I caught a few random Bronwyn acts this weekend that I thought I might share! She's getting better and better at taking pictures for me. If she knows that I'll show it to her on the camera onceI take it, she really poses for me!


Here is one I took Saturday morning while she was laying on my bed with our dog. I told her to lay her head down and pose with Sadie!




And this one... I was looking for her Sunday morning and found her peeking from in between all her toys! I could barely find her!







... and you have to see a close up of her overnight-bed-head hair do! If you ask me, it's one of her best looks yet!














Danny and my dad have been putting a lot of time this past week into working on getting our basement finished. I'm so glad that we'll have the extra space to use. And I really want Danny to have his own office space again. Between working from home and getting his own business going, he really needs a space for himself! Bronwyn tries to be such a helper. My dad tried showing her that she could poke a screwdriver through the plastic covering the insulation on the walls... the wall is now covered in holes! She found it very entertaining! She tried anything she could to help. Give her a tool and she just goes to work!

We love Dancing with the Stars!

This week started the new season to Dancing with the Stars! Bronwyn and I were very excited to watch all 3 nights this week! Bronwyn was too funny! She sat with me on the couch until a song she really felt she could move to came on!!! Then she would hop off and start her own dance while watching the tv. She's very entertained by Cloris Leachman... I am not so fond of her but find it funny to watch Bronwyn instead while she performs! Check her out!

12 Week Appointment!

This baby is here to stay! Yesterday Danny and I went to the 12 week appointment and did all the 12 week screening that was offered. We had a very long ultrasound (on a very full bladder!) that showed us all the developments of the baby! We counted hands, arms, forearms, legs, and feet! We saw both of the kidneys, and the bladder, the spine and even different parts of the brain! They were also looking for any signs of the baby having downs syndrome. I had to give a small finger prick amount of blood and that testing will be sent off and we'll get more results later. All the growth is right on track! It was so reassuring to have such a good appointment and see such a bouncy baby in there! Really, this little one was bouncing all over the place! We got a couple of great pictures from the ultrasound technician...

This one shows the arm and hand up... sure looked like we were being waved to!


I think Danny and I both could have stayed in the room watching the ultrasound for hours! It's amazing to see the baby moving so much! Once we got back home and I picked Bronwyn up from my moms, I tried to show her the new pictures. She didn't seem surprised. But she still kisses my belly... well, when she's not climbing on it or poking it with her boney little elbow! So everything is looking really good! I was told I could stop taking my hormone prescription, I think that made my day! Goodbye little uncomfortable yellow pills!!! I guess pregnancy is one on my new favorite seasons... I even found out I've lost 3 pounds!!! ...now if this end-of-day nausea would just go away...

She learns so quickly!

Here's a quick picture of Bronwyn while me and my mom were out shopping through Hobby Lobby the other day. On alot of thier displays of vases and such they decorate with lots of grapes! I think Bronwyn knew they were not real! She would walk up to them, lick her lips, and say... mmmm! She was totally pretending to eat them!




Later that night, Danny was getting in a few minutes playing the Playstation. Bronwyn needed to take park it that also! Danny let her play a fighting game with him and she actually won!!! She made her player do all kinds of kicks and punches... even figured out how to throw fire balls! She's too funny!

Last wedding of the summer!

We have never been to so many weddings in one year! We went to our last one lastnight for Danny's cousin Melissa. Here is a picture I stole from Shannon of the new couple ~ Melissa and Adam!
I got to talk to alot of Danny's family that I've never had the chance to before. All of his his family is so sweet. Most of them have never seen Bronwyn in the flesh and I'm really glad they got to meet the real her! This is a picture of all the Patrick's side of the family. So this is Danny's Grandpa, his wife Mimi, and all the kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids... and their families! (Although I guess the new bride and groom didn't make it for this one!)

Bronwyn sure loves a good wedding! She was all over the floor once the dancing had started! I swear, she was queen of the dancefloor for a while with all eyes on her! I looked around while she was at it, and there were so many people taking pictures and movie clips of her! She's probably being passed all around U Tube today! I took a few clips of my own... and none of them came out!!! They are all just too dark! I won't put you through trying to find her in the dark... but if anyone has seen any other videos of her, please pass them my way!

Bronwyn did get a little dancing in with Grandma Deb too! They even joined in with Grandpa Scotty and did the Electric Slide! She really seemed to be having lots of fun!

Then I tried to get Alex to take one of me and Logan... and snagged a shot with Kaylie!









It really was a fun night! Four weddings down! Who's left to get married???

Bronwyn's 18 month Pictures!

We finally got around to taking Bronwyn in to have her 18 month pictures taken this weekend! With the weather changing and the new clothes she's been accumulating not to mention the great new scar in the center of her forehead... it was taking me awhile to get things in order and get it done! They say 18 months and 2 1/2 year olds are the worst for sitting still for pictures. I suppose the fact that we had a brand new photographer that just kept missing all the shots sure added to the frustrations! But luckily, Bronwyn is just too cute to ruin a photo! We were left with tough choices when it came to making a purchase!

Getting ready for Halloween!

My mom dug out an old halloween custume from her hope chest last week. It was one she made for me one year when I was little. It's a cape and head and head peice for a Butterfly Princess! She let us have it to keep and for Bronwyn to dress up with at home. We put it on to show daddy the other day and let her "fly" around the living room! Here's a quick video!
